Open Mic @ Iguana Bar has been running over 9 years, now hosted by female singer/songwriter Michaela Turner-Millar, it has become one of Manchester's most established and well loved Open Mic nights. The night plays host to new talent each week, and offers musicians of all genres and levels the opportunity to perform to a great audience of appreciative musicians and music lovers.

 

On various occasions the Iguana Bar has been visited by and in some cases even seen performances from some of Manchester's top class, well-established musicians. Over the years these have included Bez (Happy Mondays), Elbow, George Borowski, Tom Lannon (Karma), Stuart Armstrong (Six10repeater) and many more.

 

For those wanting to perform, time slots are allocated on a first come first served basis from 8pm onwards. So it's advisable to turn up as early as you can, as the bill tends to fill up fairly quickly.
